A passenger jet operated by Icelandic low-cost airline WOW air was hit by a flock of large birds as it approached Baltimore. The aircraft landed safely with only minor damage. Wow stated that the incident had only a “minor effect on WOW air scheduled flights, as we immediately brought in a lease aircraft”.
