Vector Aerospace gains PT6 approval

South African MRO Vector Aerospace Africa has been appointed a Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-140 turboprop engine. Jeff Poirier, president of Vector Aerospace Engine Services – Atlantic, said: “We are well known for our customer service orientation and we share with P&WC a service-first philosophy that is of great importance to aircraft owners, aircraft manufacturers and us. With this new DOF appointment for the PT6A-140 engine, we are pleased to continue our long and successful relationship with P&WC.”
