Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement with StandardAero to provide maintenance service for RB211-535E4 engines from its base in San Antonio, Texas. The first engine inductions will take place in early 2019. Around 1,000 RB211-535E4 engines are in service, powering Boeing 757 aircraft, with half of the fleet in service in North America. RB211-535E4 engines are anticipated to remain in commercial airline service until the year 2040.
