Multi-release certified Aero Norway adds DGCA approval

Norway-based engine MRO facility Aero Norway AS has been granted Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organization Certificate by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Indonesia. The engine MRO centre is now multi-release FAA, EASA, TCCA, CAAC, GCAA and DGCA Indonesia certified.

The certification covers the full spectrum of services offered by CFM authorised repair station Aero Norway across all three engine models: CFM56-3, CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B.

“At Aero Norway the focus is always on delivering the best service and industry-recognised EGT margins that we can,” comments Glenford Marston, General Manager – Aero Norway. “Extending the global reach of our services in South East Asia with the granting of Indonesian approval adds to our recently obtained CAAC and GCAA certifications and further qualifies our worldwide appeal to operators of CFM engines. South East Asia remains one of the most significant growth centres for commercial aviation across the industry and Aero Norway’s flexible approach to CFM56 maintenance programmes is well received in such a commercially competitive environment where the majority of top tier airlines operate with the CFM56 engine family.”
