A Monarch Airlines flight to Malaga was forced to make emergency landing back in Manchester airport because part of the aircraft wing was discovered to be hanging off. The pilot was forced to turn back and make an emergency landing after discovering somewhere near Gloucester that part of the wing had come loose. There was also a problem with the cabin pressure, with the cabin and the rest of the plane depressurising at a different rate. The aircraft landing safely and the 154 passengers were quickly transferred to another Monarch flight to Malaga.
