A Qantas flight from Frankfurt to Sydney was grounded in Singapore when a fault was found in its hydraulics system. A spokesperson for Qantas said pilots had not noticed the fault during the flight from Germany but the problem was found when engineers performed their pre-flight checks in Singapore. “The passengers were put up in a hotel overnight and will travel to Sydney on the same plane and the overnight delay was caused by our engineers having to source a part,” said the spokesperson.
