Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) has signed a cabin modification agreement with Air Canada covering its fleet of 18 777 aircraft. Under the contract HAECO’s cabin modifications division will design, certify and install new cabin interiors, including new seating and in-flight entertainment systems, new flooring and laminates. HAECO will also modify the 777s’ galley units and install partition walls and lavatory units which it has manufactured. The retrofit work has already started with the first aircraft scheduled for installation induction in September 2015.
