G&G Aviation becomes European representative of Global Engine Maintenance

Successfully cooperating on several projects, Global Engine Maintenance (GEM) has appointed G&G Aviation of Rome as its exclusive representative for the European Union, Norway and Switzerland.

GEM, based in Doral Florida, specializes in the maintenance, overhaul, leasing, trading and exchanging of CFM56 and JT8D aircraft engines.

With the benefit of its new facility, experience of its personnel and management of its inventory, GEM can produce engines with quick turn-around time and excellent performance.  In addition, GEM has trained mechanics ready to be deployed anywhere in the world for unscheduled maintenance events.  As a result, GEM has managed to repair hundreds of commercial jet engines and built a reputation for superior service and reliability.

“We are very proud of the opportunity to work with GEM to support their continued-growth and success.  Having visited the strategically located GEM facilities near Miami International Airport, I was able to witness the high-technology plant and the professionalism of GEM technicians and staff” said Mr. Piccione, MD & CEO of G&G Aviation.  “I’m convinced this representation will allow us to offer to our customers a much-needed service, delivering exceptional flexibility, technically sound solutions with an excellent quality/cost ratio.”

Faryt Kalhil, President of GEM, added “Our expansion project, anticipates an increase in activity in the European market.  We’ve had the privilege of working with G&G in the past and truly appreciate their experience, solid professionalism in everything they do and their ability to find creative solutions.  I’m excited with this cooperation and confident it will help us reach our targets and produce results for our customers.”
