Ethiopian chooses AFI KLM E&M for its 737NG component services

AFI KLM E&M and Ethiopian Airlines have signed a long-term component services contract covering a fleet of 28 737NG aircraft. The contract is placed in the framework of the Component Services Program (CSP), the exclusive program operated jointly by AFI KLM E&M and Boeing for 737 component support. Ethiopian will thus be able to count on all-round support for its operations, including part repairs and fast-track access to the 737 spares pool.

“We have forged a strong relationship with AFI KLM E&M, which is already handling engine and APU support for us,” said Mesfin Tasew, Ethiopian’s COO. “We are convinced that we have made the best choice and are delighted to be extending our partnership.”

Fabrice Defrance, AFI KLM E&M Senior Vice President Commercial, added: “We are guaranteeing effective support and transparent communication for Ethiopian. The airline appreciates the dedication of our workforce, who ensure the smooth operation of the CSP.”
