DELTA 767 HITS ASA CRJ900 ON LOGAN AIRPORT TAXIWAY

A Delta Air Lines Boeing 767 hit an Atlantic Southeast Airlines Bombardier CRJ900 on Thursday night on a Boston Logan taxiway. The CRJ900 sustained damage to its tail area.

The Delta aircraft, bound for Amsterdam, was forced to return to the terminal while passengers and crew from the ASA CRJ900 preparing for takeoff to Raleigh had to be bussed back to the terminal.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
