Lufthansa Technik (LHT) has won a contract to overhaul the engines of Austrian Airline A320-family fleet. The eight-year contract, which extends an existing agreement between the two, covers all CFM56-5B engines powering the 21 A320 aircraft. “This contract is another important milestone in the successful partnership of Austrian and Lufthansa Technik,” says Dr Thomas Stueger, chief executive product and service of Lufthansa Technik.
