AFI KLM E&M partners with WestJet for GEnx support

AFI KLM E&M and WestJet have inked a Letter Of Intent to sign a contract for maintenance and support for the GEnx engines equipping the Canadian carrier’s fleet of 10 Boeing 787-9s. AFI KLM &M will monitor WestJet’s GEnx fleet using its Prognos for Engine data analysis and predictive maintenance system. This is the first major contract between the two groups.

Jeff Martin, WestJet Chief Operating Officer, said: “AFI KLM E&M’s extensive knowledge of the GEnx engines, ensures WestJet and in return, our guests, will benefit from the reliable, high-quality services provided by our new partner.”
