US-based AAR Corp has signed a multi-year deal with Kenya Airways, to supply component support for the airline’s fleet of B737NGs. The deal is part of the US government’s “Doing Business in Africa” initiative. AAR will provide a base in Nairobi for parts inventory while offering additional support from its supply chain hub in Brussels, Belgium. AAR Chairman and CEO David P. Storch said: “The administration’s support was key to enabling us to navigate the business landscape. This deal with Kenya Airways has helped to progress AAR’s expansion across the African continent.”
