USED AIRCRAFT MARKET BUOYED BY DRUG GANGS

South American drugs gangs are reported to be buying used commercial aircraft to transport cocaine from South America to Africa, say US prosecutors. Low radar coverage across the Atlantic means “drug planes” can often avoid detection.
