MEASLES SCARE SPARKED BY SICK AIR PASSENGER

An American traveling from London to Washington DC sparked a health scare when it was confirmed she had measles. The 27-year-old woman traveled from from London to Washington, D.C. last week, then two days later flew from Baltimore to Denver before taking another flight to Albuquerque.

Health officials are attempting to contact which passengers she may have had contact with at four different airports throughout the US.

“The appropriate steps are being taken to reach out to those passengers on the plane that were in close enough proximity,” said Tom Skinner, a spokesman for the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
