VTB Leasing’s Irish affiliate company, Capablue, has filed a lawsuit in the Commercial Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region demanding $43 million from Transaero. Five other Irish companies affiliated with VTB Leasing have also filed suits against Transaero totaling more than $58.5 million from Transaero for non payment of dues. Aeroflot, Russian Regional Development Bank, RN-Aero, Sberbank and Alfa Bank have also filed lawsuits against Transaero demanding payment of debts.
