UK charter operator Thomas Cook Airlines has signed an agreement with UK defence contractor AirTanker to lease an A330. The aircraft will be converted from its military tanker/transport configuration to a 323-seat all-economy class cabin, and will be operated under a “damp lease” agreement involving the secondment of TCX flight crew to AirTanker for the duration.
