Nordwind Airlines takes delivery of 767-300ER from AWAS

Dublin-based lessor, AWAS, has delivered a 767-300ER to Russian charter airline Nordwind Airlines.

The aircraft will operate out of Russia on long-haul routes to Europe, Turkey, Egypt and the Far East.

“The addition of this AWAS 767 to our fleet is part of our on-going expansion,” says Kazim Dikici, a board member of Nordwind Airlines. “Our success is down to our commitment to quality. Through our customers, we aim to offer services to the public which afford the highest levels of safety and comfort, and our fleet of modern Boeing aircraft allows us to do just that.”

Ray Sisson, president & CEO of AWAS, says “Nordwind Airlines is a new customer to AWAS, they have more than doubled the size of their fleet of Boeing aircraft in the past two years. We very much look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow. Global Avia Logistics, their exclusive logistics provider, played a substantial role in this transaction.”
