Macquarie AirFinance sells a clutch of aircraft

Macquarie AirFinance has sold a number of aircraft from part of its purchase of the ILFC portfolio. On September 24 it sold A320-200 MSN 1973 South Jet One Limited and on September 27 closed the purchase of one 737-700 MSN 29370 on lease to China Southern. A day later Macquarie AirFinance purchased two 2006 vintage A320-200 aircraft from Air Berlin, which will be placed on long-term leaseback to Air Berlin and sub-leased by Air Berlin’s Austrian affiliate Niki.

Macquarie AirFinance arranged the sale of two EAST-owned MD-83 aircraft, MSNs 53623 and 53624 on lease to American Airlines to Dougherty Equipment Finance to round of the month of activity.
