Intrepid Aviation delivers one A330-300 to Asiana

Intrepid Aviation has delivered one new Airbus A330-300 aircraft to Asiana Airlines in Korea. The aircraft is powered by Pratt and Whitney PW4168A engines and is subject to a long-term lease to the Korean airline.

“We are delighted to be adding Asiana Airlines to our growing customer base, and look forward to a long term relationship”, said Franklin Pray, Intrepid’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “The Airbus A330 aircraft continues to prove itself through excellent operating economics and we value the type as the core element of our rapidly growing widebody aircraft portfolio.”

Asiana Senior EVP and CFO Chang-Soo Han also noted “We are pleased with our new Intrepid Aviation partnership that supports a continuing product evolution for Asiana with the introduction of another new A330-300 to our fleet. Our product and staff continue to provide industry leading comfort and services for our customers. The aircraft will be used primarily on international routes throughout Asia.”
