FLY Leasing Limited, a global lessor of commercial aircraft, has acquired two Boeing 737-800 aircraft manufactured in 1998. The aircraft are on lease to Transaero. The new acquisitions were financed with secured bank debt and FLY’s free cash. “The B737-800 is the most popular commercial aircraft in the world and is in high demand from airlines,” said Colm Barrington, CEO of FLY. “BBAM, our manager and servicer, continues to provide us with unique opportunities to execute on our prudent growth strategy and these two aircraft will enhance FLY’s net income and EPS.” FLY now has a fleet of 110 aircraft
