Embraer has entered into a memorandum of understanding for financing and leasing aircraft with Chinese group AVIC International Leasing. The deal could be worth up to $1.5 billion over the next five years. Embraer expects demand from China to reach 950 new regional jets over the next 20 years. It has delivered a total of 77 out of 105 firm orders to China.
