Doric’s portfolio reaches 34 aircraft valued at $5.6 billion

Doric added its 17th Airbus A380, and therefore its 34th aircraft under management, to its portfolio last Friday.

At 4.34 pm CET on 9th November 2012, Doric Nimrod Air Finance Alpha Limited (Doric Alpha) took delivery of the third of four Airbus A380s financed with funds raised in the UK and US capital markets. The aircraft was delivered in Hamburg and has the manufacturer’s serial number (MSN) 109. The first two A380s were delivered in October with the fourth aircraft scheduled for delivery before year end. All four aircraft are leased to Emirates for a period of 12 years.

Doric Alpha is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Doric Nimrod Air Two Limited, an aircraft investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Doric now manages an asset portfolio totaling $6.7 billion.
