AWAS has delivered an Airbus A320-200 on lease to existing customer IndiGo. The aircraft is equipped with IAE V2527-A5 engines. This delivery is the first of two sisterships from AWAS’ existing fleet, which will enter service with IndiGo this summer. AWAS now leases a total of four A320 family aircraft to IndiGo. AWAS says it is pleased to further enhance this long-standing relationship with IndiGo, as the carrier looks to capitalise on India’s increasing demand for point to point low fare air travel.
