AWAS has closed a JOLCO for one Airbus A320 operated by Thai Airways subsidiary, Thai Smile. CA-CIB acted as overall JOLCO arranger, facility agent and security trustee. The debt portion was jointly provided by CA-CIB and the Development Bank of Japan. AWAS delivered the second of nine new A320s to Thai Airways yesterday. Thai Airways will use this new passenger aircraft to expand its regional subsidiary, ThaiSmile, to current as well as new domestic and ASEAN, China and India destinations.
