Several high profile lessors have confirmed to Aviation News that they are having terrible problems trying to purchase A320s A321s, 737-700s and 737-800s. They also state that the 737-800 values for resale are increasing to astronomic levels further confirming this type as the gold standard, moreover the 737-800 resale values are leading to a widening gap between it and the A320, confirming (if any confirmation were needed) that the Airbus type will not match the Boeing offering on resale value.
