Embraer subsidiary ECC Leasing has arranged the lease of three ERJ-135 regional jets from Air France subsidiary Regional – Compagnie Aérienne Européenne to Air Namibia. ECC arranged the deal under an exclusive remarketing mandate it had been awarded by Air France Regional. The three Embraer ERJ-135 regional jets will replace some of the airline’s turboprops and are on schedule to be delivered in March. The aircraft, configured in a 37-seat layout, will be operated from Namibian capital Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH), as well as Eros Airport (ERS), located near Windhoek’s downtown area.
