During the second quarter of 2018, AerCap signed lease agreements for 40 aircraft, including eight widebody aircraft and 32 narrowbody aircraft. The lessor purchased 20 aircraft, including 15 A320neo family aircraft, one A350 and four 787-9s. AerCap executed sale transactions for 30 aircraft, including 21 A320 family aircraft, one A330, one A340, five 737NGs, one 767 and one 777-300ER from its owned portfolio. The lessor continues to manage five aircraft that were sold from its owned portfolio during the quarter. In addition, a portfolio of 22 managed aircraft was sold. AerCap signed financing transactions totalling $2.7 billion.
