Volga-Dnepr Group transferred $170 million of advance payments from internal funds for five new Boeing 747-8Fs. The catalogue price is around $1 billion. The rest of the funds will be raised from western banks. It is worth noting that the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank will provide the 80% guarantees of the total cost of the contract. The credits will be raised from Citi Bank and HSBC. The Group’s aircraft fleet currently consists of ten An-124-100, four IL-76TDs and ten Boeing-747s.
