TAAG ANGOLA AIRLINES SECURES EXPORT CREDIT FINANCING FOR 777-300ER

TAAG Angola Airlines has secured $256 million loan with an US Export-Import Bank guarantee for one 777-300ER aircraft with GE90-115B engines.

The guaranteed lender is the New York-based Private Export Funding Corp, or PEFCO. HSBC is lead arranger on the deal. Ex-Im Bank’s guarantee is supported by a sovereign guarantee from the Angolan government.
