Southwest Airlines will pay a dividend of half-cent per share on September 15 to all shareholders as of August 25. This will be the low-cost airline’s 140th straight dividend. The dividend amount has remained constant also and CEO Gary Kelly does not expect it to change unless Southwest hits certain earnings targets.
