Vladimir Obyedkov, the CEO of Russia’s S7 Airlines, has stated the airline will buy up to eight Boeing and Airbus medium-haul aircraft in 2011, if the shareholders permit it. The 737-800 aircraft are for Globus Airlines, its charter airline subsidiary, whereas S7 will opt for more A320s.
