On April 15 Crédit Agricole CIB closed the commercial refinancing, under a Japanese Operating Lease Structure with Call Option (JOLCO), of a Boeing 787-8 for Qantas. The aircraft is operated by Jetstar Airways and was delivered new from Boeing in December 2013. CA CIB acted as Sole JOLCO Arranger, Global Coordinator, Joint-Debt Underwriter, Facility Agent and Security Trustee. DBS was also Joint Debt Underwriter. This is the second Boeing 787-8 financing arranged by CA CIB for the Qantas Group, after successfully closing the financing of Jetstar’s first 787 in October 2013.
