BNP Paribas and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, as Structuring Agents, and, together with the Development Bank of Japan and NordLB, as Mandated Joint Lead Arrangers, have closed a framework agreement covering the commercial financing of eight A320-200 aircraft, to be delivered to LATAM Airlines Group during the third and fourth quarter 2013. Each of the mandated lead arrangers will be funding two aircraft under this facility, which is agented by BNP Paribas and represents the first time that LATAM is tapping the commercial debt market for its Airbus equipment.
