JCDECAUX WINS DEAL FOR 26 SAUDI AIRPORTS

JCDecaux ATA, the Saudi subsidiary of French advertising firm JCDecaux that is 40% owned by Saudi partner ATA, announced on Saturday that it had won exclusive rights for advertising at all 26 airports in Saudi Arabia.

The 10-year, granted by the Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation, includes the busy international airports in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Medina and 22 domestic terminals.

More than 45 million passengers passed through the airports in 2009, including 39.4 million in the four international airports.

Passenger traffic in the Middle East grew 7.1% in 2009, the fastest regional growth in the world.
