Chorus Aviation generated operating income of $26.8 million during the first quarter of 2016, an increase of $10.9 million over first quarter of 2015.  This increase was driven by a $1.0 million contribution from the Voyageur operation while aircraft leasing operations under the CPA contributed an additional $5.3 million as a result of the addition of new Q400s in the fourth quarter of 2015 and the first quarter of 2016, combined with a change in the US dollar exchange rate.  The remaining net increase of $4.6 million in operating income was primarily attributable to a net decrease in collective agreement
