AMR Corp has filed with the US Bankruptcy Court a motion for an order to obtain post-petition financing in an amount of up to $785 million secured on a first priority basis to buy up to 41 Boeing 737-823 aircraft, 14 Boeing 757-223 aircraft, 1 Boeing 767-323ER aircraft and 19 Boeing 777-223ER aircraft under up to two additional subordinated tranches of enhanced equipment trust certificates to be issued in connection with the American Airlines Pass Through Certificates, Series 2013-2.
