The NYSE Airline index is trading 0.32% lower at $49.51, with just 4 out of 12 airlines trading higher. Unsurprisingly Ryanair is the top performer with a 1.7% rise to $31.44. Shares Lan Airlines are also doing well trading at $31.51, which is a 1.16% increase on the previous close. Tam is also up by just over one percent, trading at $25.35. Shares in Delta dropped over 2% however to $13.6, with a similar drop being registered by AMR shares trading at $8.46.
