Storm Leon affecting flights in Miami and Fort Lauderdale

Delays and cancellations have been reported at Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport as Winter Storm Leon brings freezing rain, sleet and snow from southeast Texas to the Gulf Coast. Some 51 flights have been cancelled at Miami airport and four delayed while Fort Lauderdale had 39 flights canceled and 47 delayed. Nationwide more than 3,000 flights were canceled.

The airlines affected are American Airlines, American Eagle, Delta Airlines, and US Airways.
