JAL seeks lower fuel surcharges

JAL has requested its cargo fuel surcharges to be revised. The airline currently pays an international cargo fuel surcharge of 122 yen per kg on long-haul international routes, 99 yen per kg on medium-haul international routes, and 78 yen on short-haul routes when adjusted to be based on the one-month average fuel price of Singapore kerosene.
