Air Cargo Solutions aims to operate three An-12s in the US

Aerovis Airlines subsidiary, Air Cargo Solutions, has announced it will take delivery of three ex-Avialeasing Antonov An-12 turboprop transports. Air Cargo Solutions has filed a request with the US FAA to add the aircraft to the US registry on August 20th. Air Cargo Solutions entered into a joint-venture with the Uzbek cargo specialist to manage its fleet of Florida-based cargo aircraft. So far, the project has focussed on building the presence and utility of the An-12 in the North and South American markets, and on exploiting the type’s transatlantic capability.
