WestJet and American Airlines have agreed to code-share on connecting flights on American or American Eagle flights from Canada to Chicago and Boston. More cities are expected to be added in the near future. “These initial routes should immediately enhance our reach and value proposition to business and corporate travellers, particularly in Central Canada,” said Hugh Dunleavy, executive vice-president of strategy and planning at WestJet. American Airlines will be able to further expand its North American network and provide connections to and from cities throughout Canada.
