VOLCANIC ASH CANCELS FLIGHTS TO BALI

Ash from erupting Mount Bromo volcano in East Java is blowing dangerously close to Denpasar airport, which has led Jetstar to cancel several flights to Bali. The Australian airline cancelled six flights, one flight from Perth to Denpasar which was already in the air was diverted to Darwin, and the rest were grounded.

The airline is monitoring the situation and a spokesperson said it would advise passengers of any further delays.
