Volaris reports 8% increase in passenger traffic

Mexican LCC Volaris has reported its preliminary traffic results for July 2014, in which the total number of passengers carried reached 1.1 million, an 8.1% increase compared to June 2013.Domestic and international passengers reached 861,000 and 193,000 during July: a 4.5% and 27.9% increase respectively over July 2013.Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) also increased 7.7% year-on-year during July 2014. Volaris recorded load factors of 87.5% during July 2014, attributing the result to efficient capacity management.
