A Virgin Atlantic A330 aircraft bound for Orlando made an emergency landing at Gatwick Airport yesterday after the pilot was forced to return to the airport after a fire was discovered in the hold. Fifteen people suffered injuries from cuts and bruises to fractures from using the emergency slides. Nine other flights were suspended as the damaged plane sat on the runway.
