Vietnam Airlines is preparing to launch services to the US, with Los Angeles as its first destination, but is unable to set a launch date as yet until the FAA give final approval. Also on the expansion list further to what we have reported already are additional regional flights to Myanmar, China, India and Laos. The Vietnam IPO, as we have reported before, has been delayed into 2013 because of the unfavorable global economic situation, but the company is in the final stages of selecting an investment bank to assist and hopes to complete the IPO in the second half
