Varig takes delivery of second converted 737-400SF-11

Varig Logistics has taken delivery of its second Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) 737-400SF 11 Pallet Configuration Passenger to Freighter Conversion. The aircraft, a high gross weight B737-400 (MSN 25595) was built in 1992 and underwent passenger to freighter modi- fication at AEI’s Authorized Conversion Center, Flightstar Aircraft Services, Inc. which is located in Jacksonville, Florida. The aircraft is being leased to Varig Logistics by Aviation Capital Group (ACG) which is located in New- port Beach California.

The freighter is equipped with an Ancra Main Deck Cargo Loading System capa- ble of carrying:
• Ten Full Height 88”x125”x82” AAA container positions in P1-P10 and a 53”x88”x64”high pallet in P11 (More full height AAA’s than any other B737-400 conversion)
This unique configuration will allow operators to maximize the interior volume of the B737-400SF by the addition of a tenth AAA ULD position.
