US Airways Group plans to cut 176 jobs in 11 cities. Pittsburgh is to be hardest hit, with 91 positions to go. Buffalo will lose 24 jobs. All eligible workers will be shifted to other markets, the group said. The job cuts comprise 54 airport customer service positions and 122 fleet service jobs. A reduction in flights in certain markets has caused the airline group to makes adjustments to its schedule. A spokesperson for the airline said that all employees can be absorbed into other markets if they’re willing to relocate.
