A power outage at the control tower at Newark Airport, New York, delayed United Airlines outgoing flights on Monday. United Express flights were also cancelled. The Port Authority says the United Airlines control tower at Terminal C experienced a power outage shortly after 5 p.m and was not fully restored until shortly after 7 p.m. There were no residual delays, said United.
