Turkish Airlines (THY) has selected GE’s CF6-80E1 engines to power its fleet of 15 firm Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Delivery will begin next year. THY has also signed a 12-year OnPoint solutions agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its new CF6-80E1 engines. The total engine order and OnPoint agreement is valued at more than $1 billion (USD).
